What is Counselling and Psychotherapy?

Counselling and Psychotherapy offers an opportunity for you  to talk about any concerns you may have currently or relating to the past, which may be impacting on how you live your life now. It can be used to develop a greater understanding of your own emotions leading to deeper levels of self-awareness and insight into your challenges, as well as opportunities for acceptance and / or change.

Counselling usually tends to be shorter term work which may be directed towards a specific focus or goal.

Psychotherapy offers more in depth work to explore issues in the past which, if unresolved, may be affecting you now in some way.

We can discuss together what may be most appropriate for you.
